Armed Forces Tour in July

It's an honor to announce that ELEVATION will be embarking on a tour to the Middle East in July to play for service men and women in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Qatar and Kyrgyzstan. Although some of the areas we may be visiting might be sensitive, we will try to update you as much as possible during the tour with blogs and photos. This is going to be a thrilling experience for us.

Also, we are adding some East Coast dates in late June right before we head out. So be sure to come out and send us off.

First off, thank you Pennsylvania for three great shows (sorry West Chester for the cancellation). Here's a review of our show in Philly. Thanks to Music Under Fire blog.

We have one more show in Syracuse, NY (Thurs. Jan. 22nd) @ the Westcott Theater before we head home for the final two dates of the tour in Athens (the 26th @ Tasty World) and Atlanta (the 27th @ Masquerade).

Hello lovelies, Andrew here. I hope this post finds you well. It's day 2 of the Riffs and Snow Drifts Tour with Lights Resolve. We had a day off today so we decided to spend it in Washington DC. We saw the Capital building and sat in on the Senate for a few minutes. Cool to see but totally boring. Then we subsequently got kicked out of the Capital by a bitch cop.

Right now we are sitting in a hotel room in DC (a nicer one than were used to) drinking some Cabernet, watching the BCS National Championship. So over all a good night. Looking forward to tomorrow nghts show. Vineland NJ. Never been there so we'll see how it goes. Talk to you all soon.

I hope you love Christmas as much as I do. I love rushing around buying all these gifts that I can't afford to give to people in my family. I think it really shows them how much you truly love them when you give them something they don't really need, every year on Dec. 25th.

NOT. I hate that actually because it's stupid.

BUT I really do love being with my family during the holidays. All of my cousins are visiting from south FL and they are like brothers and sisters to me. By the way... did anyone see those security camera photos of the Angel who visited the little girl in the hospital and healed her pneumonia? angel pic I am so thankful that God is so good.

Well I am going to go play some war games in my parent's basement on xbox 360. I hope you guys have a great Christmas with your family and friends!

Absolutely not to be confused with the U2 cover band of the same name, Elevation is a five-piece rock band from Atlanta, Georgia with a way-grown-up Jimmy Eat World vibe and vocals to die for. You'll fall in love with Nathan Smith's voice - a rich, deep, satiny murmur which is forever falling off into a delicious whisper. Elevation just released their first album, Strangelove, with Minneapolis-based indie record label 50 Records. With its undulating piano, smooth electric guitar riffs, and gypsy cymbals, Wallflower is my favorite track on the album, but the heavier Facedown is a very close second.
